Marc N. DeBernardis, a 42-year-old Ironworker with Ironworkers Local 580 in New York City and Owner of Saint James Productions, passed away on September 6, 2023, at his home in Brooklyn, New York. He was born in Altoona, PA, the youngest son of Ross and Michele (Shover) DeBernardis. Marc received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Alfred University in Alfred, NY. He is survived by his parents, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; a sister, Lori (Ken) Wood, and their children, Lucca and Stella, of Frederick MD; a brother, Justin (Alaina) DeBernardis, of Orlando FL.; and countless loving aunts, uncles, and cousins in PA, FL, Italy, and Australia.

Early Life and Education

Marc N. DeBernardis was born in Altoona, PA, the youngest son of Ross and Michele (Shover) DeBernardis. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Alfred University in Alfred, NY. Marc was a talented artist who loved creating and designing art. He was also interested in fine woodworking, metal fabrication, sculpture, surfing, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Buccinese Society.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends and family will be received from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, in the Santella Funeral Home, 1106 8th Avenue, Altoona. A funeral Mass will be celebrated following the visitation at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Committal and Internment will be held at Calvary Cemetery on 2417 Pleasant Valley Boulevard, Altoona.
