ITV Grantchester actor's famous Emmerdale star sister and the other Dooley he isn't related to
Many will recognise the newly introduced character of Johnny Richards from ITV’s hit series Grantchester from several other shows that have graced our screens in recent years.
Actor Shaun Dooley has had many roles in the past, including Doctor Who, The Bill, Casualty, Coronation Street and EastEnders.
In more recent times, he’s better known for his portrayal of DCI Mike Braithwaite in TV mini series Innocent, and Clive Tozer in It’s a Sin, as well as Doug Tripp in The Stranger.

Fans of the actor might also know that he has a famous sister, but they might be a little confused about who she is.
Dooley’s actual sister is Stephanie Dooley, who played the role of Zara Baynard in Emmerdale in 2006.
Like her brother, Stephanie has also appeared in Casualty, in addition to several other shows including Hyperdrive. The Royal, All At Sea and Creeped Out.
She’s also taken roles in movies, such as The Hunter’s Prayer and Dangerous Game.
But Shaun and Stephanie aren’t the only Dooleys on the block.

A third Dooley, who has no connection to Shaun and Stephanie, goes by the name of Stacey - and according to suggested Google searches, some seem to think the pair are related.
Stacey Dooley is a television presenter, journalist, and media personality who has been in the public eye since 2008 as a participant on BBC Three’s Blood, Sweat and T-shirts documentary series.
Since then, she has hosted her own documentary series called Stacey Dooley Investigates, in which she travelled to countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo and Cambodia to uncover stories about child soldiers and sex trafficking.
In 2012, she covered the clashes between the far-right English Defence League and local Islamists in her hometown of Luton in a documentary called My Hometown Fanatics, before travelling abroad again to countries such as Greece, Japan, Germany and the United States to report on stories there.
The 34-year-old presenter is also in a relationship with Kevin Clifton, who was her dance partner on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.
But for the record, despite sharing the same surname and both being very successful, Shaun and Stacey share no relation to each other - despite what people searching online might think.
