Jennifer Aniston in head-to-toe Saint Laurent for TDS: adorable or awful?

Here are some photos of Jennifer Aniston outside of The Daily Show building in NYC last night. First, a word about her ensemble… out of all of her promotional outfits this week, this is my favorite. I never really mind Jennifer’s neverending supply of little black dresses, but some are better than others. This one is a winner – good lines, not too matronly and not too “young.” Love the sleeves. And she did a ponytail – with a black ribbon! The best part? Her killer slingbacks. Those are great. The whole ensemble is Saint Laurent. Again with the Saint Laurent!!

So, Aniston appeared on The Daily Show last night for Cake. Jon Stewart was very nice to her and very complimentary for all things CAKE. Let the Cake wash over you. CAKE. Also, again with the “layers”. Cake layers!!!

Jennifer and Chris Messina go to the same gym?! And Jennifer is right about one thing: Jon Stewart is still a very attractive man. He was adorable when he was younger, and now he’s just got that sexy salt-and-pepper look. He’s awesome. Anyway, this was kind of a boring interview.

By the way, now that Cake is getting a limited release in more cities, more reviews are coming out and not all of them are complimentary. “Cake is Jennifer Aniston’s half-baked attempt to be taken seriously” says the AV Club. “Jennifer Aniston’s Cake is a heaping slice of Oscar grubbing,” says the NY Post. Even Vogue chimed in with a review, declaring “it’s not hard to see why” Jennifer was left off the Best Actress Oscar nominations list. Ouch.
