Jordan North studied at St James’ Lanehead Primary School. He then enrolled at Penwortham Priory Academy, a coeducational secondary school located in Penwortham in the English county of Lancashire.

Jordan North comes from a military family and has many close family members who have worked in the army.

He was in university when he started working at the community radio station Spark FM.

He has been an employee at the in-house radio station at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and community station Preston FM.

Jordan North began working as a researcher and producer at BBC Radio 5 Live after he graduated from university.
