Melbourne model Helena Vestergaard declares love for Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis
MELBOURNE model Helena Vestergaard has declared her love for rock star boyfriend Anthony Kiedis - and insists she doesn't care about the 30-year age difference between them.
Vestergaard, 20, told Confidential: "I'm not an ageist. You can't help who you fall in love with."
The beauty from bayside Melbourne and the Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman, 50, met last year.
They now live together in LA.
"We're both happy and that's good," she said.
Vestergaard said she is adjusting to Kiedis' rock star lifestyle of tour and travel.
"It's strange. It's nothing like I've ever experienced, but I'm getting used to it," she said.
Vestergaard, an Australian MotoGP ambassador, visited the Yellowglen House at Turnbull Stakes Day at Flemington on Saturday.
She has acting ambitions, but time in Hollywood has tapered her goals.
"When I was younger, I wanted to live the dream," she said.
"I wanted to be a movie star, but since I've matured, and been to LA, I've realised the whole environment, and how it is over there, and it's not as attractive as I thought.
"There are so many actors over there, you can't imagine how anybody breaks into it.
"But I guess they do."
