Now 31, Emily took the plunge three months ago and chose 290CC round implants to move from a B cup to a C cup. Speaking on Instagram the model said she is glad she waited until her 30s to have the procedure as her body has changed so much over the years.

Emily added: "I had always wanted it done ever since I was a teenager.

"Although back then my mum was really against it and if I'm being honest, I'm really glad I held off until the age I am now as I've said before, I feel like your body changes so so much in your twenties that I'm not sure the size, and shape I would of chosen when I was younger would of suited me now."

She added: "My main reasons now for getting it done was down to being self conscious and not feeling confident in the styles that I was trying to pull off.

"A lot of the clothes I wanted to wear I felt like I would never fill out the cup part and there's only so many socks that will do the trick. Even when I bought my size it would be loose around the chest too."

The fashion icon said she wanted a more natural finish and spent time thinking about what would work best for her body.

She explained: "I really really wanted a natural looking finish and because I already had a full B cup before surgery I didn't want to go too big. Initially the doctor gave me a 350 cc to put into my bra and I instantly knew it felt too big and too heavy and didn't look right. From there we started narrowing it down. I felt the 290 was much better for me."

She attended Ross Hall Hospital for the surgery and went 'under the muscle' for a softer finish.

She said: "The process is definitely longer from what I've been told, but again, I felt like under the muscle could give me that softer, more natural looking finish.

"I was in and out in a day. I had surgery at 8am, was back in my room for 10am and then got picked up at 6pm that night.

"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. I definitely was. My best friend actually got her boobs done two months before me and had filled me in to what to expect. The only time you get a jab is for the canula they use to put you to sleep, You don't even feel it. You don't even know its happening.

"The only other jag I had was after you are put under anaesthetic when you wake up you can feel quite sicky and that was on my bum."

Emily chose glue rather than stitches for after the op and says she now only has a small scar.

She said: "My scar is still healing so it's a little bit red still but it's so small."

And the model who recently showed off her new breasts wearing the Love Lockdown collection for Boohoo, says she has now recovered, though still wears a bra in bed.

She said: "You basically need to take one week off work and can't drive for a week. It's not bad at all. Everybody reacts differently. I was really sore the first week and spent most of it in bed.

"Even the second week, I did start working again and had to do a photo shot from home. I had about twenty five, thirty outfits, which I managed so you are definitely able to be up and about, you can do it."

She revealed she now sleeps with her bra on, explaining: "You have to sleep on your back for at least the first month. You're far to sore to roll onto your side. You have to sleep with a support bra, like a corset. Its pretty comfortable to be honest.

"It's been three months I still sleep with that. I think they advise you to always wear it to bed if you've had a breast augmentation."
