John Boyega, lead actor in the new Star Wars film Star Wars: The Force Awakens (reviewed here by CelebMix!) is spending his spare time between Star Wars premiers, press conferences and TV interviews by popping up at screenings and showings of the movie all over the world!

The actor, who is sure to be propelled to global superstardom by his starring role as Finn in the movie, started by making surprise appearances before showings in New York, making multiple appearances at cinemas in Brooklyn and Manhattan. During these visits he took the time to personally thank the fans for supporting him and the movie, which is one of the most eagerly anticipated films of all times, and expected to be one of the biggest.

His appearances prior to the showings were only brief, but long enough to cause hysteria and excitement, as documented by fans on Social media!

After interviews, including one on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Boyega left New York and jetted back home to London, and he continued his surprise appearances on his home turf!

Boyega, who was born in Ghana but raised in Peckham, made surprise appearances in cinemas in Brixton and Greeenwhich, and shared a video on his twitter page that shows him sneaking up behind two fans killing time before their Star Wars showing by watching the trailer. It takes a few seconds for them to realise who it is, but when they do their reaction is wonderful, and it’s well worth clicking here to take a trip over to his Twitter and watch it!

Between popping up to thank the fans and a number of interviews on chat shows, John Boyega is quickly becoming a fan favourite, showing himself to be a hilarious and humble guy, and no one seems to be having as much fun in regards to the new Star Wars film as he is!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens stars Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac alongside Boyega, and features Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill returning to the franchise for the first time since the 80s, and is out in cinemas now!
